ROB SMITH, Owner

Professional Profile
Rob has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He has experience as a Field Engineer, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager. Rob uses the latest technology by utilizing different programs such as Foundation Project Management, Raken, Plan-Grid, AutoCad, and imaging with comprehensive documentation. This allows an expedited complex review process and the ability to deliver our clients the best possible results for their needs. Rob is certified in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings with Butler.

Rob has managed the construction of many different types of projects. From gas stations to restaurants to Class A office tenant improvements to industrial projects, he has been responsible for meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Personal Profile
Rob is a self-proclaimed workaholic, but loves spending time with his family more than anything. Rob and his wife, Jill, grew up in California’s Simi Valley and went to high school together. Years later, a chance meeting brought them together and they moved to Carson City in 1996 and then to Reno in 1998. Rob and Jill have two sons and enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and time at the lake as a family. Rob is proud to say, “We love this community and we are active in ensuring its magnificence.”

 

PAUL SLOCUM, Owner

Professional Profile
Paul has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years as a Development Manager for DP Partners in the Reno, Las Vegas, and California markets. He has overseen 15,000,000sqft of shell and core construction, along with thousands of square feet of tenant improvement projects. After spending many years designing, Paul decided to get involved in other aspects of the industry such as design-build structure.

As Project Manager, Paul is responsible for supervising all aspects of construction from initial estimation to project completion. Paul also handles construction coordination, due diligence work, coordination with local utility companies, and plan review.

Personal Profile
Paul has called the Reno-Tahoe area home since 1992. He has two children, Aubrey and Bryce, and they both live an active lifestyle.  Paul appreciates spending time outdoors hunting, camping and fishing. He also enjoys sports, especially golf, and loves spending quality time with his family and friends.

 

HANNAH SHUTT

Hannah studied at the University of South Dakota and graduated in 2016 with a Marketing: Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. She has 3 years of construction experience beginning in an office administrative role and is now a Project Coordinator. She participated in several Project Management Development programs at the AGC Nevada Chapter and received her OSHA 30-Hour Certification. Hannah has worked on many professional office tenant improvements and several medical offices. As a Project Coordinator, Hannah focuses on supporting project managers with day-to-day tasks such as subcontractor coordination, permitting, change orders, submittals, job site meetings, project closeout procedures, and billing.

Hannah enjoys spending time outside at Lake Tahoe, paddle boarding, hiking, and snowshoeing.

 

REMINGTON ICKES

Professional Profile:
Remington has close to a decade in the construction industry growing up in the family business in the Las Vegas area. His experience includes garage doors, insulation, fireplaces and mirrors and shower doors. Over the last couple years Remington has been active in Project Coordination and Project Engineering. Remington attended the University of Nevada, Reno graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in addition to a minor in Business Administration.

Personal Profile:
Remington is an avid fisherman and extreme sport connoisseur. Whether it is fishing the local watering holes, dirt biking, mountain biking or camping Remington spends all his free time outdoors being active.

 

DENNIS HOLSTON

Professional Profile
Dennis has over 46 years of construction experience with 35 years as a Butler Builder. He is responsible for supervising all aspects of the construction from the initial estimation of the Pre-Engineered Metal Building thru the completion of the project. Dennis started his career after graduation from high school as a Union Bricklayer, then joined the Carpenters Union and started work as an Iron Worker. In 1985 he was offered a position as an in-house Project-Management position. Dennis spent his early years in southern California, then moved to the Central Coast for 25 years and ended up in Northern California before moving to the Reno, Nevada area.
Dennis hobbies include restoration of vintage motocross bikes and all types of off-road riding & four wheeling.
